The Digital Yacht GPS160F with Furuno Format Data Output is a high-performance GPS sensor designed to be compatible with a variety of chart plotters. Specifically developed for older Furuno plotter and GPS systems, this GPS160F provides an economical and reliable solution to common technical issues associated with GPS system rollover changes.

With its compatibility with legacy Furuno systems, the GPS160F offers a seamless "drop-in" replacement for failed positioning sensors. Designed in collaboration with Furuno UK, this GPS sensor emulates the older NMEA 0183 data format and sentences that Furuno systems can read. It has been extensively tested with a wide range of legacy Furuno products, including NavNet MFDs, NavNet VX2, M1735 Radar, GP7000, and the FCV family of sounders.

Setting up the GPS160F is effortless, as it comes with a 10m cable and a user manual featuring dedicated Furuno interfacing information. Simply make a simple 4-wire connection to the existing Furuno system and it's ready to go.
